LEWIS COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT 6

I have been a resident of Lewis County all my life.  My husband and I moved to the Logan Hill area in Chehalis in the early 1980's.  He joined the volunteer fire department as a volunteer.  He has responded to many aid and fire calls over the years.  I have experienced the fire department from more of a taxpayer's perspective than as a volunteer.

Fire District 6 has many dedicated volunteers that want it be the best district in Lewis County.  I am willing to face the challenge and see the fire department move forward and remain one of the best fire districts in Lewis County.

James (Jim) Martin is married to a wonderful, supportive wife Becky and has three daughters Angela, Megan, and Jaimie.  His father-in-law Gary Cadwell, who has been a member of LCFD 6 for more than 30 years, encouraged him to join the department soon after he and Becky were married.  Jim has been a volunteer firefighter for LCFD 6 since the Spring of 2000, several years later, he received his EMT and BLS Instructor Certification. In 2012, he was commissioned as a volunteer EMS Chaplain and is currently serving as one of Lewis County Chaplaincy Service chaplains supporting all EMS agencies, law enforcement agencies, and all citizens of Lewis County.
